We are almost done with our fall series “Exodus & Exile: God in the Wilderness,” which has taken us back to the Old Testament where we explored the two themes of “Exodus” and “Exile” throughout the book of Exodus and beyond. We are now in the second portion of our series in which we look at the them of “Exile” throughout the Old Testament.
This week we heard Mark talk about the life of a Jew in exile in Babylon, and the view that Christianity in America is on its way into exile. He also reminds us of the words from Jeremiah 29:1-7 which gave the Jews in exile some unexpected advice.
